Robotpegasys
at the Big Apple Comic Con National! Part 2!
|
|
| |
|
| Day
2 started off with a bang! With everything already set up, by
10.00 a.m. we were ready to rip, rock, and roll! David
Ellis was also here for the amazing sequel. |
The
fun starts! We had a visit from the lovely models from
Naked
Productions! I forget their names, but i guess
it doesn't matter! The ladies just love Marcus Peblo! |
|
|
|
|
| Sometime
around mid-day, A mysterious figure approaches the Robotpegasys
table |
It
is none other than....Drum roll please... |
...Tommy
X! West coast Robotpegasys affiliate! |
| |
|
| This
is the first time that we've meet face to face! We collaborated
on a few animation projects via the world wide web, so us linking
up was an event shocker! |
Tommy
was a special guest at the Robotpegasys table.
He runs Non-Sequitur
MH, and brought his "ash-can" limited
edition S.T.I.C.K! Crowds of people loved the dark and witty
humor, and simplistic yet elegant art work in his debut comic |
|
|
What
a surprise, an old college buddy and aspiring actor Christopher
Scott stopped by our table.
You
can see him at work in Breakthrough Productions "Unhinged",
Oasis Entertainment "30 Years to life", Frat Boys
Productions "Running the Yard", Maverick Home Video
"Lost Money", and Wolfe Films ''Brother
to Brother."
You'll
be seeing a lot from this guy in the future. While he's working
on getting his big break, he'll be doing some voice work for
the next Top Secret "Robotpegasys"
animation project!
Good
luck Chris! |
| |
|
| More
unique people from the con. Now this is a happy couple! |
"Hey!
I saw that on Newgrounds!"
Marcus Peblo is everywhere! |
| |
Another
happy couple picked up the Marcus Peblo combination special.
The "Mystery Gift" DVD
and the Adventures of Marcus Peblo Comic! Double
the mystery and magic, loads of strange extrasensory fun for
the enlightened mind!
Our
product was flying off the table! The only problem that we faced
was trying to convince people that i made the cartoon myself.
They swore that it was taped of television. One guy even said
that he liked watching it on the cartoon network!?!?
Thanks
to the people who brought 2 copies! Don't worry! Those limited
editions will be collectors items!
As
you can see Saturday was jam packed and a ton of fun! |
|
|
We
decided to end day three with a blast!
David's
sister Anne came down to give us estrogen charged
come "girl power!" That crazy guy poking his head
out from behind Anne, is Samuel Vera,
Owner of of Crazee Comics and Creator of the
Sci-fi epic Cosmic Wars!
Day
3 will go down in Robotpegasys history. Not
only was Marcus Peblo on his best behavior,
but we also had more traffic to our table on the last day, Sunday!
We
held free raffles every 30 minutes, for exclusive signed show
posters!
We
even unveiled the shocking trailer for our next DVD release,
"The Alien Sermon!"
|
| |
|
| "Awwww..Marcus
looks so cute. Why is he hatching out of an egg?" |
Another
lovely lady! |
| |
|
| This
young lady won a Alien Sermon collectors poster!
Robotpegasys will do everything in our power
to end UFO secrecy! |
Logan
and Tommy tidy up a extra table to make a few
sales before the days over. |
| |
|
| Tommy
prepares another raffle! |
Logan
was a real trooper. He came to every raffle that we threw determined
to win! Finally he won a signed Alien
Art print! |
|
|
Many
spectators were intrigued by the Alien
Art that I had on display. I certainly under-estimated
how many members of the general public had had sightings or
close encounters with other worldly things. Robotpegasys
provokes and stimulates their thinking!!!!
Near
the end of the day we threw one deluxe raffle for all of the
patrons who brought products from our table.
This
was a framed print of my favorite characters from the Marcus
Peblo Saga, all grown up! To see the print

These
two woman wait patiently for the number to be read by David!
and
the winner is...... |
| |
The
new parents for "Team Ropega!" Please
find a nice wall for our mystical heroes! |
| |
Well,
to make a long story short. Robotpegasys had
record sales of Marcus Peblo "Mystery Gift,"
and Tommy's S.T.I.C.K. comic sold out!
